Dear family members,

With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and the forced separation we have all been living through, it has become clear to me the importance of maintaining family connections.    We are a large family, scattered all over the globe, and keeping in touch has been difficult or non-existent because of a lack of knowing who all our family members are and how to locate them.   As such, working with my siblings during our weekly Zoom calls, we came up with a proposal to begin the process of creating a Jackson family reunion. The idea for the reunion is to hold it with some frequency, which would allow us to re-establish our family connections.

Attached is a draft proposal, which outlines some ideas on how we can get this process started, reach across our multi-generational family, and most importantly, maintain a living family history for future generations. We have also attached the Lee-Hing family tree that we can use as inspiration and documentation to create our own Jackson family tree.

Please review the proposal and send any/all ideas to me. In addition, let us know your interest in becoming active in establishing the various committees, etc. We will need the participation of many family members if this is to be a success.
